SMASH Contest 350 - Unexpected Sighting

Hello Shadow Hunters. Round 350 is upon us in this Show Me A Shadow or SMASh Contest hosted by @melinda010100. The contest post can be read here. Do check it out and be a hunter of shadows if you aren't one yet.

I drove my daughter to one of the busiest areas here in the city. The place is a complete headache for drivers because of the volume of vehicles that pass and stop here. There's a supermarket, a commercial building with lots of restaurants, a Jollibee restaurant, about 4 or 5 drugstores, 2 big commercial banks all in a short distance of 400 yards. And all these on just one side of the street. On the other side is the headquarters of our Social Security System, a McDonald restaurant and the biggest government hospital in the island of Mindanao, the Southern Philippines Medical Center.

Now if you think the traffic is really bad, think how much more if you have to park your vehicle which is what I needed to do because I had to wait for my daughter to conclude her business in one of the establishments here. Luckily, I am so familiar with this place as I used to bring my wife to the hospital here numerous times in the past and I had to discover where the parking spaces are because I had to accompany my wife in her visits to the hospital.

So I parked in one of my secret parking spaces which is a dirt road behind the bank and the supermarket. I discovered that the back area of the supermarket and bank is a residential area which only a few people know about, except if one lives in the area. I stopped by a shaded area in front of an apartment. This place is almost deserted and quiet compared to the almost chaotic situation just a block away. Night and day, really.

But what, you might ask, does this have to do with Shadow Hunting? Well, as I said before, "Once a SMASher, always a SMASher." While waiting for my daughter, I noticed one of the units of the apartment across me. It was vacant and the sun was shining right on its front part. I immediately saw this.

I noticed at once the shadow of the grills. I went down to go nearer and take a couple of shots.

I said to myself, perfect for SMASh. These shadows really just come from unexpected places, don't you agree? A chance and unexpected sighting. Ahh. I just love this sport.

The last photo is my entry to this Round.
